Abstract

The digital age has introduced technologies that allow easy access to scholarly materials, which has significant implications for teaching and learning English. Learners can access lessons and learning resources through online media. This research aims to analyze how these digital literature resources affect English learning. This research is significant because it will influence how teachers and learners approach English language learning. In addition, this research will show how learners and teachers can benefit from digital literature materials. In addition, there is a transition from traditional media to digital media, which should also apply in learning institutions. Therefore, the research will answer questions about the benefits, challenges, and opportunities of digital media for English language learning. This research used a qualitative research method. The method will combine literature review and feedback from English language learners. The study collected data from learners using an online questionnaire. The research shows that digital media adversely affects instructor-learner engagement, a prerequisite for an effective English learning environment. The study provides a guide on appropriate digital media features and recommendations for effective learning through digital media.
